Open-Air Movie Theater with Elizabeth von Arnim

The Dobra Municipality invites you to a special open-air movie night. On August 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the sports and recreation complex in Dobra will host an outdoor screening of the film “Mr. Skeffington”—an adaptation of one of the novels by Elizabeth von Arnim, a writer whose life and work are inextricably linked to the area that is now the municipality of Dobra. The screening will be an opportunity to rediscover the author’s work and spend a summer evening in the unique atmosphere of an outdoor cinema. The film will be shown in Polish with German subtitles, making the event accessible to guests from both sides of the border. Admission is free. The event is organized as part of the project “Four Seasons with Elizabeth von Arnim,” co-financed by the Small Projects Fund of the Interreg VIA Program Mecklenburg–Vorpommern/Brandenburg/Poland 2021–2027 under Specific Objective 4.6: Culture and Sustainable Tourism.
