About the project

The calendar of events was created as part of the project “Polish-German calendar of events” co-financed by the European Union from the Small Projects Fund (SPF) within the framework of the Interreg VI A Cooperation Program Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland 2021-2027 - specific objective 4.6 “Culture and sustainable tourism”. The value of the project is 51,033.00 euros, and the ERDF funding (80%) is 40,826.00 euros.The project partner is Tourismusverband Vorpommern e.V., is one of the key economic development institutions in the tourism sector of Vorpommern.
“Polish-German calendar of events” is a continuation of the INT 174 project titled “Bicycle route around the Szczecin Lagoon - common identity of the borderland” funded by the INTERREG VA program. A mobile bicycle application was developed during the project.
The application includes a calendar of events along with a content management system. The project “Polish-German calendar of events” is the creation, promotion and operation of a website with a comprehensive tool for finding events from the entire Euroregion Pomerania.

The purpose of the project is:

• to better link and develop the cultural and tourist cross-border offer,
• Facilitate cross-border access to it for residents of the Euroregion Pomerania area,
• availability of information through multilingual product.
