A Loop Full of Surprises – Cycling Training Ride to Nowe Warpno On October 4, 2026, we’ll set off from Szczecin on a nearly 90-kilometer cycling training ride through Western Pomerania. This event is for experienced cyclists who are ready to ride in a group at an average speed of at least 24 km/h. Start: Polana Miodowa, Szczecin Meet-up: 10:30 a.m. Departure: 11:00 a.m. Distance: approx. 89.6 km Limit: only 60 participants Helmet required We’ll be riding alongside Mariusz Gil—a multiple Polish cyclocross champion—ultra-cyclist Marek Rupiński, and Marta Gryczko—an ultra-cyclist and long-distance enthusiast. Our destination? Nowe Warpno! Along the way, we’ll combine a solid training ride with exploring Western Pomerania by bike. We’ll visit MILA Camp—a certified Cyclist-Friendly Place—ride through the center of Nowe Warpno past the historic town hall, and the route will also include a stop for a herring roll—a local delicacy. Promoting Cyclist-Friendly Places is one of the main goals of the event. Participants can also look forward to a warm-up and consultation with a trainer, medical support, a mobile bike repair service, energy snacks, stretching, and a warm, restorative meal. There will also be a quiz on cycling tourism in Western Pomerania—prizes will be awarded to the top three participants. The number of spots is limited to 60 people—registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
