Detectives in Action! A Meet-and-Greet with Martin Widmark as part of SIGMAstic Reading

I cordially invite you to a special meet-and-greet with Martin Widmark, one of the most popular contemporary authors of children’s books, known for, among other things, his bestselling series about Lasse and Maja’s Detective Agency. Martin Widmark is from Sweden. He is not only a writer but also an educator; he worked as a teacher for many years, which had a significant influence on his work and the way he tells stories to young readers. The event will take place on June 14, 2026, at the Pomeranian Library and will have a special format: it will be led by young people who have prepared their own questions and surprises for the author. This is a unique opportunity to see how young readers engage in dialogue with the creator of books that inspire them and spark their imagination. During the meeting, you’ll have the chance to hear about the behind-the-scenes process of creating books, learn where the author gets ideas for his stories, and ask your own questions.
