Primary School No. 7 named after the First Polish Army in Koszalin, together with the Association of Veterans of the Republic of Poland and Former Political Prisoners – Koszalin Branch, invite students in grades 6–8 from primary schools in the city of Koszalin to participate in the 5th edition of the history contest titled “Polish Military Action During World War II.”
The competition will take place on May 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Its aim is to deepen historical knowledge, foster an interest in the history of the homeland, and cultivate patriotic attitudes among young people. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of Polish history in the context of World War II, as well as develop their ability to search for and use information from various sources and to work in teams.
The event is held under the Honorary Patronage of Jakub Kowalik, Deputy Marshal of the West Pomeranian Province, and the Patronage of the Mayor of Koszalin. Partners of the competition include Mega-Instal Koszalin, Koszalin University of Technology, the Parents’ Council of Primary School No. 7, Kaliszczak Bakery, the Rega Historical Reenactment Association, the State Archives, the Piłsudski Association of the Republic of Poland, the Mayor of Mielno, the Military Recruitment Center in Koszalin, the “Pokoloruj świat” Foundation, and “Port Narzędziowy” s.c. Koszalin.
