"Stockholm tragedy" - This is what Wislawa Szymborska called the time she received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1996, which was related to the media hype created around her. The show refers to turning points in the poet's biography, excerpts from her work and correspondence. It does not perpetuate the monumental image known from textbooks and functioning in the popular consciousness, but tries to illuminate the lesser-known threads in Wislawa Szymborska's life. Above all, it is a story about moments of triumph, mistakes of the past, the right to defend oneself and the importance of friendship. And about how all of life's difficulties can be transformed into personal strength. As she said in her Nobel speech: "All knowledge that does not emerge with new questions becomes dead in a short time, loses the temperature conducive to life. (...) That's why I value so highly two little words: . Small, but strongly winged. Extending life to us (...)". I don't know - these very words brought her to Stockholm, "where people with a restless and eternally searching spirit are rewarded with the Nobel Prize."
