Film Music

A unique evening filled with the magic of film music. By the glow of hundreds of candles, the greatest hits of cinema will be performed in extraordinary arrangements for string quartet: from the epic themes of *Gladiator* and “The Lord of the Rings,” through the moving melodies from “Nights and Days” and “A Star Is Born,” to the emotionally charged pieces from “La La Land” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” The program includes works by, among others: Hans Zimmer (“Pearl Harbor,” “Gladiator,” “Pirates of the Caribbean”), Ramin Djawadi (“Game of Thrones”), Justin Hurwitz (“La La Land”), Howard Shore (“The Shire”), Yann Tiersen (“Amelia”), Waldemar Kazanecki (“Barbara’s Waltz” from “Nights and Days”), James Horner (“The Ludlows” from “Wuthering Heights”), “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born,” and others. The intimate atmosphere and subtle candlelight will make this an evening to remember for a long time. Performers: the Antidotum Quartet (two violins, a viola, and a cello). Age: 6 and up (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). Once the concert has begun, entry to the hall will not be permitted.
