Marta and Alina end up in a hospital room intended for one person. Neither of them wants to give way and leave, because each believes that she deserves the place in the "single room." Condemned to each other's company, they try to survive until someone comes and decides for them. Their differences in character and views do not make the wait any easier, leading to great tension, a series of funny misunderstandings, but also to unexpected twists and turns. The point of view of each of the women is not as obvious as it seems at first... "Separatka" is a comedy, one of those that, under the guise of a light form, convey a penetrating truth about our reality.
