Thanks to the joint efforts of the Cycling Mobility Coordinators Team at Association of Regions (ZWRP) and the Polish Tourism Organization (POT), Poland is becoming involved in the implementation of one of the most important European cycling projects. On December 3, key steps were taken at a meeting in Warsaw to establish the National EuroVelo Coordination Center.

The Velo Baltica cycling route, a key tourist attraction in the West Pomeranian region of Poland, has been awarded the prestigious POT Certificate by the Polish Tourist Organization (POT) as part of its annual "Best Tourist Product" competition. Recognized as one of the most attractive and innovative cycling routes in the country, Velo Baltica earned this honor for its exceptional infrastructure, scenic landscapes, and strong appeal to cycling enthusiasts. The award was presented at a ceremony held in Warsaw on November 19, 2024, with the Vice-Marshall of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Jakub Kowalik, accepting the accolade on behalf of the region.

On the 14ᵗʰ of November Marshal’s Office West Pomeranian Voivodenship organised online webinar „Gain bicycle customers”. This event was a part of the ICTr-CE project, regarding Iron Curtain Trail: „Innovative participatory sustainable business model for cycling along the Iron Curtain Trail”.
